This place is absolutely beautiful; love how homey it is. Only thing I would change is the hedges and plants. I like them natural, and not with those fake looking buzzed off haircuts! You can REALLY tell in that one picture, that is showing the beautiful natural shrubs by those big trees, and then right across the drive is the buzzed off hedge. I see it all the time where I live; the difference between the ”real” azaleas, and the ones where people buzz them off. Even when they’re blooming the buzzed off ones are not even slightly pretty. This place would make such a perfect, lovely home! Wondering what that little room is off the bedroom. A bathroom? A nursery?

I see why you wouldn’t want to guess at its build date — different eras everywhere in this house & a surprise how comfortably they work together! It’s totally charming & I wish I could buy it tonight. I’m never a fan of “open concept” but here, my impulse would be to make the kitchen & dining room, with that fantastic fireplace, into one room. That’s not a complaint because I don’t have any about this yummy house.

The green shutters and greenery on the house totally reminded me of the painter Monet’s house in Giverny (at a smaller scale and different house style): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fondation_Monet_in_Giverny . Very cute, a lot of character!

There’s definitely an older part in which the kitchen is, but it’s not showed (plain panes casement window in the kitchen), none of that kind on the front of the house. Same for the bedroom window, all the windows we see on the 2 first pics have multiple small panes, and not the pictured bedroom.
